Bicycling Magazines
Mountain Biking
- Mountain
Bicycle is the world's most popular mountain biking magazine. It features
articles on Bicycles, components, and accessories, riding techniques, bicycle
maintenances, nutrition, destinations & more. 11 issues are published
each year.
- Mountain
Bicycle Action covers similar topics & is published monthly throughout
the year. If you are looking for back-issues, you can order them from their
web site.
- Bicycle
is best known for its outstanding photographs in every issue. It is published
10 times a year, and the November/December issue features the best photos
for the entire year. You can get a subscription to Bicycle magazine at a great
rate from our Pete & Ed
Books Bicycling Magazine Page.
Racing
- Pro
Cycling is based in the United Kingdom & covers the world of professional
cycling in 12 monthly issues each year. If you go to their web site &
enter your e-mail address, you can get their daily news sent to you via e-mail
each day.
BMX
- Ride
magazine focuses primarily on freestyle BMX & is published monthly.
- Transworld
BMX is from the same publishers as Ride, but concentrates on dirt jumping.
- BMX
Plus is published monthly & covers all forms of BMX.
- BMX Today is a
free magazine when your join the NBL (National
Bicycle League). We usually have a few in the store to hand out for free.
It contains results of past events & information on upcoming ones.
One title that is
noticeably missing from our selection is Bicycling magazine. It's a fine publication,
and is the world's most popular magazine on bicycling. Unfortunately for us,
it is now so widely available at newsstands that we can no longer sell enough
to justify carrying it. You can, however, get a subscription to it at a very
good rate from our Pete &
Ed Books Bicycling Magazines page.
Also on our Pete
& Ed Books Bicycling Magazines page is an extensive set of links to
bicycling magazine web sites. These include the major print magazines, plus
many smaller regional ones. Many are strictly enzymes, and cover specialized
topics, such as tandems or recumbent. Several are international magazines, covering
bicycling in Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.
